Aero Software PC Alarm Clock
This application came about because you generally
need an alarm during the week but at the weekend you don’t want to be
woken up at the same time as during the week. The idea was to create an
alarm clock which would be able to run on any platform; Windows, Linux,
Unix, and many different types of portable device.
Once set, upon reaching the allotted time that the
alarm is set for it will randomly pick one of your MP3s and play it.
In theory anything with a web browser and Java loaded
should be able to run this little app.
It requires approx 599K of disk space and when
running about 23K of memory. Most of the disk space is used by the
documentation so please read it then when you are familiar with the app
you can delete the document.
Double click on AlarmClock.jar to run the
application. You will be greeted with the Clock GUI.

The first thing you need to do is tell the app where
your MP3s are located.
Click Music -> Where is your music

You will them see the Music window.

Type in the path to your music but as per the example
please make sure to use the forward slash symbol “/”. This will only
need to be done once as the app will remember for future use. You can
change the path at any time if your move you music.
Close the window by clicking on the X in the top
right hand corner of the window.
Next you need to set your alarms

Click Alarm -> Set Times
You will see the alarm setting window.

Enter the time you would like the alarm set for
during the week and what time you would like at the weekend. That’s it!
This app is completely free if you like it please
tell others and give them our web site address to download their own
copy.
REMEMBER:
IF YOU SWITCH OFF YOUR PC THE ALARM WON’T WORK.
